So far my quest diagnostic results have been:
Oct 2014: Lyme ab 1.40 H, BLOT : 23igm, 41igg
Jan 2015: BLOT: 41igg, 58 igg
Jun 2015: BLOT: 41igg
All co infections thru quest were negative.... my question is: should I apply for financial help to send to igenex, is it worth it? My quest Lyme test were not positive, do you think it is really Lyme judging by my quest results? My Dr. Knows I dont have extra money to send my tests to igenex.

Just wondering if igenex would be more thorough in case i pay to see a llmd, like having it for the record, would my infection show up on igenex if my last blot only had 41igg from quest

I hope you're not paying for all those Quest WB tests? Quest is not a good testing facility for lyme.

Well, you could just go see a LLMD and he/she will let you know if he/she needs an Igenex WB or not. Remember a LLMD isn't going on test results alone -it should be a clinical diagnosis - ie your symptom history, did you see a tick feasting on you, did you have a bulls eye rash, etc.

Or, you could just get one done, and then have the results ready for your LLMD appointment.

The Igenex WB is approximately $210 for both tests (IgM and IgG) plus Fedex fee.

But, if you decide to get tested, Igenex has a program to help pay for those tests if you qualify financially. It's called Lyme tap: www.lymetap.com/

Thanks Girlie! I am thinking I might just do the igenex, my insurance is paying for the quest, thats why i havent done igenex yet or saw an actual LLMD, im so paranoid i dont have lyme because quest is so unrelieable... I have just emailed lymetap :-) thanks trav!
