My insurance will not approve the medication saying I do not need the antibiotics. We have appealed twice.
They originally did approve them, approved having a port surgically placed and then two weeks into treatment changed their decision. I am looking for a lyme literate attorney who may help with what i should do next

What a MESS. That should be illegal. I am not sure where to look—I'm wondering if a SS disability atty might be helpful. Some are learning a LOT about lyme now days. One of our posters here recently posted her saga in achieving disability with the help of her atty. Maybe someone can point you toward her post, which might be helpful.

Can your LLMD help put you in touch w/ other patients on the tx who have decent coverage?
