P, I am not on antibiotics at this time but I have been on the A-Bab and A-Bart for awhile. I stopped both on the 13th and just started A-Bab at only 5 drops last night.
The rash and facial swelling are subsiding but once the Zyrtec wears off the itching comes back but not quite as bad. The rash is on my forehead, around the outer parts of my eyes, under my chin and on my chest. All those areas and my arms are itchy. It doesn't seem that my skin gets more flaky after a shower or when I apply ointment.
My diet hasn't been that great but I have been pretty strict lately. I sometimes can't resist a mocha iced coffee. Since reading about the high ammonia levels I am at a loss of what to eat. I usually eat poultry, some beef, veggies, eggs, quinoa, Ezekial bread and tuna. I am not consuming enough calories and it really is difficult for me to cook for myself due to fatigue and having to cook my hubby his 3 meals a day.
There is no GI distress except for an occasional soft stool. No flatulence or bloating. I have not noticed any reactions to food except some mild anxiety after eating. I take 100 billion cru's multi-species probiotic from Klaire Lab and 1 cap S. Boulardi daily. I am not on any anti-fungal treatment right now but was taking A.D.P. (oil of oregano) 3 times daily. I have to order more. My tongue gets a little white at times and I have no dandruff.
I could do more baths but I am so-o-o claustrophobic!!!! I do more of the foot baths. I was drinking lemon water (is using the lemon in the plastic lemon containers OK?) but am now worried that it will increase the ammonia levels (IF that is a problem). I will have this checked out. I dry brush a couple times a week, drink water (started drinking more) and take an occasional charcoal capsule. I have parsley and burbur tinctures but am a little afraid to take them. I understand pinella is great, too.
It's been 3 years of treatment and getting frustrated, I am heterozygous for the a1298c and c6771 mutation. Do you recommend the 23andme testing?
IHL, did you take the Ketotifin med? I did notice you did the H1 and H2 blockers. Did you switch them around? I will definately ask about the Quercetin. I hope you feel better.
P, thanks so much for all your help.
Traveler, thanks for watching out for all of us.
