Hi Kim
I already responded to your other thread about
kicking the soda... and now with this post I understand a little more of the context for your other thread.
I am wiped out or I would lay out all the crazy y/f sx, which are comprehensive. If you have a family history of alcohol... that might provide a clue. Even if you don't consume alcohol, you could still have a funny reaction to sugar (like me). and this could create a predisposition to not tolerating as much sugar as other people can w/out creating an imbalance in your gut. And this is likely why some people BECOME alcoholics while others, who drink just as much, do not... it's the reaction your body has to all the yeast and sugars.
Here is more info on y/f overgrowth:

y/f on her site but I see that she has recently compiled it all into a book to sell... it's under $10 but now, this means I can't reference people to her site like I used to. But, there is some basic info there. She is a recovered alcoholic who could not kick the habit until she healed her y/f overgrowth, which was a very complicated process.
