how do you all cope with having to tell your story for years

i have a lot of different caregivers through the years

moving

meet new people, caregiver co

and new drs, for years

everyone wants to know my story,which of course I understand

or know I have to tell it to medical people'

but after so many years I have grown tired

I try to write it out , it is difficult to,
but don't know how to condense years of it i would just make copies

so I can just hand out printed pages

I want to write a book anyways but want to get paid for that,

the price to pay to survive.... horrible

i answered all her questions,

and I am now so drained

and the whole thing is suppose to benefit me, such a gosh darn struggle everyday, in different kinds of ways :(

Welcome to our community!! I'm so glad you found us!

Why don't you take a look at what I finally wrote up. I've had 40 yrs of illness to explain, and was being asked about it over and over here on this forum mainly - and I finally caved and figured out how to condense. When you write yours, it wil have to change depending on who you are telling and why - but if you have a basic time line, then you can add in what you need.

Another thing that really helps me, is I keep drafts of the different things I wish to say or need to repeat over and over - that way I can choose which draft I think will be best, depending on the situation, and then add to or remove what needs to be changed - no starting from scratch each time.
