Bad news from LLMD.

I saw my PCP and LLMD in one day on Tuesday. It was great seeing my LLMD, but as always, she catches things my PCP doesn't and gives me bad news.

I'm not self treating anymore. I wasn't doing enough and I needed professional help, which is good to me, since I know I can only do better from here. My LLMD is brilliant, and she had Lyme herself!

She put me on Byron white formulas and mino, to take after my Bactrim round for this persistent UTI/kidney infection.

I have had all the kidney/bladder issues and my PCP neglected to notice that I was 1/10 of a point away from being pre-diabetic, which my LLMD pointed out. Back in January was when I took those tests.

I have another a1c I took. Results should be in Tuesday along with organ functions and urinalysis, but I know it won't be good. My LLMD said it's likely that I am diabetic right now and I am not dealing with that news well.

My urine still has a ton of WBC and some blood in it. I feel like I have been passing kidney stones the past two days (and maybe I have been all along) because I've had such bad right kidney pain that dropped me to my knees, worse when urinating and I actually woke up with the pain in my lower abdomen and when I went to urinate, it hurt so bad I couldn't breathe.

My doctor also said that my phase body angle was 5.1 when the goal is 10. 😔 she told me if I was any sicker, I would be bedridden, on par with people dying of cancer. I think she said that to make sure I was grasping the concept because afterward, she followed by saying I can "get the phase body angle and my sugar control back to normal in no time!"

I just feel so down. :( diabetes is awful and I was so scared of that and kidney problems, and I seem to be having both. Any support or advice or just encouragement would be appreciated!

I actually feel lucky that I know all about Lyme disease because I believe that all sickness and disease isn't treated properly due to not knowing the true source of it.

Thank you for letting me know about your kidney function. You have no idea how much that eases my mind. Your encouragement means so much to me!

I will definitely let everyone know how I'm doing on treatment! Maybe I can give some insight on Byron white since I haven't read much about the formulas from this board! :)

I'm so very sorry for this!!! But remember, that healing the infection might reverse this for you!! I surely hope that's the case with you.

And you've caught it in the earlier stages, so that has to be a good thing too, right? Maybe it can easily be managed and you can heal from Lyme and company and then leave the diabetes behind you!

When my adrenals failed and took my thyroid with it, I gained 40 lbs in 3 months without changing a thing in my diet or activity levels - and when I finally got in to see a doctor that looked beyond just the TSH 1 &1/2 yrs later () I too was 1 point away on my A1C from discussing diabetic meds with my doc.Scared me pretty bad! Fortunately, as I loose this extra weight - soooo very slowly!!! - my numbers are falling.

Keep up the same good spirit with working hard towards your healing and stay positive that you will heal - because you will!! You were on top of it all enough to realize that you might need help!! Good for you!

LOL! I've been a waitress in a very busy store before too!! Does your doc know that you are a waitress and on your feet that much? Maybe he/she is thinking of a different type of exercise, like riding a bike?

Trav-- yes I told her! She said I need to do strength training and some cardio-like riding a bike (I like dancing!). I've actually been doing better about that since yesterday.

And Sarah, I most definitely have babs. My LLMD diagnosed me with it her first time with me! I actually told her I'm pretty sure I had it because within a week after my tick bite, I had the grossest night sweats.

She gave me A-L complex, A-Bart, A-Bab, and Detox 2 (which tastes like dirt and makes me gag).

Detox 2 every night, 3 hours away from food/sups/meds.
A-L is what I started with a week ago, increasing by one drop each day (started at one drop). Then tomorrow I'm going to add the A-Bart and do the same thing. Then after 7 days, A-Bab, until I'm at 18 drops of each in morning and at night.

Yikes! That's going to be expensive. Plus I'm going to be taking the minocycline.

All tests came back normal today. Even blood sugar and kidneys. Think I just had a bad infection, plus the stones. Passing the stones actually brought me to tears.
