New symptom... herx?

So I started Samento & Banderol on Sunday. Yesterday was my second morning taking the herbs and soon after (a couple hours later) taking the herbs I noticed tingling in my left arm, pinky finger and ring finger. Today on day 3, I finished taking my herbs about a half hour ago... and the same thing is happening.. the tingling in my pinky finger and a couple other fingers, arm, wrist on left arm. Its not bad or anything just noticeable and pretty annoying. Also today my left shoulder blade is stiff and sore this morning, which I'm not sure has ever happened before. It hurts to move in certain directions. This is not a regular symptom of Lyme for me. I've never had tingling in my arm, only in my back, face and sometimes fingers. Does this sound like a herx?

My best guess is that this is more than likely a herx symptom. I actually got noticeable neuropathy from taking biaxin. Like you, it's not terrible, just annoying. I'd never had that symptom before, at least not to a degree that I ever really noticed it.

For me the neuropathy flares about an hour or two after dosing the biaxin, along with my usual herx symptoms, and then it wanes along with the regular herx symptoms. I'm about 3 weeks into biaxin and the neuropathy has diminished quite a bit. The neuropathy mostly makes my hands wrists arms tingle ache, but it rotates to different parts. Sometimes it is my calf or feet sometimes my shoulder and sometimes my back.

Hope you are doing ok otherwise!!! hopefully it is a good sign because it means samento banderol is going to be an effective combo for you :)

The shoulder blade pain is the worst part. Ouch. Never had this problem before. And the tingling in a few of my fingers/arm on the same side is super annoying. I'm only on two drop of Samento and Banderol 1x a day. Id like to still add another drop tomorrow as the pain is manageable just uncomfortable/annoying. Weird I never had this problem before until starting Samento & Banderol.

I was just expecting more of my typical symptoms getting worse with treatment, not a new one! Never had shoulder blade plain before or such extreme tingling in my fingers. I would guess pinched nerve if I didn't just start treatment - because shoulder blade on left hurts (close to the middle of my back) then tingling feeling starts going down my arm on the same side of sore shoulder blade lightly then more tingly into my hand and three of my fingers. Especially my middle finger for some reason, lol

A herx is described as worsening or new symptoms when treatment for Lyme is started or a dose is raised. It can be a bit confusing at times, but one way to figure out if it's from herxing is to raise the amount of detoxing you do quite a bit. If, after several days, you begin to feel better, then it was due to herxing.

And Icy-hot rub might work during the day if you can't sit down until evening.
