Does anyone know if Lyme or Co infections can cause high bilirubin levels?

A few years ago my bilirubin levels came back high and I was told it is Gilbert's Syndrome. The white of my eyes get a yellow tinge to them at times. Now that I found out I have Lyme Disease a few months ago I'm wondering if the high levels of bilirubin are due to Lyme or co infection rather than Gilbert's Syndrome.

Lyme and bart can affect the liver, so it's possible that it would affect the bilirubin levels.

I have Gilbert's syndrome...I found out in my late teens - when my eyes had yellow tinge to them.

That was long before Lyme disease for me, though.

How high are they?

Range = < 20 Mine have been 30, 35, 37, 27, 29, 30 since lyme treatment.

I don't remember what they were when I was a teen.

Girlie, I'm not sure how high they are as this blood test was done 5 years ago now. It was one of the many blood tests done to try and find out what was causing my balance issues and dizziness when my symptoms first start 5 1/2 years ago. I just remember all my blood work coming back normal besides the bilirubin. My doctor told me it was elevated because of "benign gilberts syndrome". Now that I just recently found out I have Lyme Disease, I was wondering if Lyme was the cause. Hmm.
