Umm...I'd have to get to the store that's over an hour away for a protein shake I like. Sucks living in the middle of nowhere.
I have a bunch of frozen fruit. I could try a smoothie later maybe.
Eggs don't agree right now. I was ok with 1 food I had with egg in it. I wasn't ok when I tried some egg ravioli a couple days later.
Quinoa also doesn't exactly agree with me, though it's not as bad as eggs. Not sure I have any, though.
I was ok eating meat and poultry....until my first bout of Lyme treatment over 10 years ago. Then I started having violent stomach cramps, diarrhea, sweating, shaking about
30 minutes to an hour after organic meat or poultry. And a rash all over my arms. All went away when I stopped eating meat. Over the winter, my dad made some lamb...and it got really smoky in the house. The rash popped up on my arms when I walked through the kitchen.

Wow, that's quite a reaction!! I sure hope that you will once again have the choice of adding meat into your diet or not!
I'm just throwing our some ideas. I realize you don't have time to cook much of anything with the way your schedule is right now. If I can come up with any more ideas, I'll let you know though.

I appreciate any and all ideas. :D
My brain is not 100%. Got 4 hours of sleep and am on a 2 hour schedule with a recovering baby.
I maybe am feeling a little better after my "lunch" of ginger soda and salt crackers.

Thanks LMCM!
Unfortunately it gets even worse. Still in shock. Let's just say I'll be able to sleep more normally now

This is kinda been hell week. First the shearer seriously botches his shear job....and now the baby is dead.
I haven't been able to eat normally all week from babesia herxing...and I'm kinda subsisting on fluids and crackers.
I got home from a food run, and my 5 year old mini horse is colicing. And I'm still watching her....being eaten alive by mosquitos.

OH no- my sympathies about
the baby you were caring for.. PLUS there is nothing worse or scarier than a horse colicking except when it is happening on TOP of all that you are going through. I am so sorry! ((HUGZ)) Hope your mini is OK you can get some rest and your tummy feels better so you can eat.

I'd like to add my sympathies here for the loss of that baby. I've fought hard to keep babies alive too, only to loose them later. It's a hard world to live in sometimes.
I hope that your mini pulls through without any issues!!
I'm so sorry that you are having to deal with all of this, but I do hope that this will lighten your load just a bit once the mini gets better!

I'm so very sorry for your loss. Life just isn't fair sometimes.
Best wishes to your mini for good health!
And, most especially, best wishes to you, sayyadina as you recover from all of this! ((hugs))

S.-I hope you are feeling better today. I'd been feeling like you describe for a few days and then I remembered the stuff in my cabinet - Oreganol-8 by Platinum and started taking it once a day, but then I went to the mall yesterday with my children and when I got back I felt like I was having all those symptoms described plus a really bad sore throat ( on top of a swollen eye and stiff jaws still ) I took an extra dose of it last night with a magnesium to " nip it in the bud"- at bedtime and today I am feeling like I never had any of those symptoms at all ( even my swollen eye and stiff TMJ/ jaw pain seems a bit less). The stuff is so great. I am pretty sure it is the oregano plus goldenseal and garlic in it (plus other stuff) that really boosts the immune system when it is fighting off something. I took 2 caps today at breakfast and will take another two at bedtime, tonight. hope you get to try some, if you can.

Actually, the oregano oil, golden seal and even the garlic have antibacterial qualities to them. I'm currently using oregano oil to treat a bladder infection.
So be sure that you are detoxing a lot!! You've just added to your treatment protocol!!

Thanks so much everyone.
The good news is my mini seems fine and has pulled out of it.
Emotionally, I'm feeling better today. Physically, not so much. I can eat crackers (and even cheese and jam on crackers)....anything more than that isn't happening. I tried to make up a whey protein drink...and I couldn't finish it. Stomach isn't much better this morning.
I know I need to eat, but if I take anything too solid it makes me so nauseous.
I'm thinking I should skip this week's artemisia.
I feel like I slept really well, but I don't feel good at all. Kinda just want to go back to sleep.

I think you're body is trying to recover from a lot of emotion that happened over these last few weeks and that you should pamper it and nurture it the best you can at this point. Sleep as much as your schedule will allow and work with your body to get it built up to tolerate more foods again.
And try to be patient as you go through this. I know that it was a very hard time for you.

Yeah, I know I need to rest....but there's a bunch of stuff that I wasn't able to do that I now have time for. So I've been working on that. Like reformulating my horses' diet with the new hay.
Also doesn't help that is 90 degrees with almost 70% humidity. And my sister has re-upped her passive aggressive attacks. Guess she knows I'm in a weakened state and she's determined to take advantage.
How do I not stress about
not being able to eat? Cause I am. Also haven't heard back from my LLND about
what to do.

Realize that you can't push your body to accept more than it can, even when we are just talking about
food -doing so has always backfired on me.
Is there anyway you can isolate yourself more from your sister even for a few hours break? Can you stay in your room with the door closed while you work on reformulating your horses diet? Heck, I'd even take whatever food I was going to eat into my room if I had to.
And then remember that even laying down for a 20 minute rest period - and not working your brain during that time - will help you. That's how I survived for years, I would lay down for 20 minutes at a time 2 - 4 times a day while having a fully working farm with gardens large enough to grow all the food we would need all year (family of 6 at the time), and all the animals that we were raising for food, for their products (milk, eggs) and then the babies we would sell for profit & Home schooling 3 kids. I was lucky to sleep 6 hours a night, with no time for anything but those quick 20 minute naps. They really work if you can train yourself to clear your mind and actually just rest for 20 minutes.
We just came out of that kind of weather and that alone will zap a lot of strength from a person, so stay hydrated, eat what sounds good and you can get down, and rest as much as you possibly can.

Isolating myself from her isn't a problem. Its when I get out to the barn and see what she's been up to that's the issue. Gates aren't secured properly....poo piles haven't had lime/pellets applied correctly...stuff like that.
There's another big reason to stay in my room....I have an air conditioner!
I'm kinda mad about
my current eating issues...I just roasted up a whole bunch of veggies, and I can't eat them.
I'll try the rest periods another day. Anything that interrupts my brain when I have to do math is a problem.
