Question About IgeneX Lyme IgG/IgM Serology

I think it might be the ELISA???? Just guessing right now, but I based that guess off of this statement: "The IgG and IgM WB should always be used when the Lyme IgG/IgM antibody serology has returned an equivocal or positive result."

It should have reference ranges posted near that result, can you tell us what they are?

But don't worry much about this, because if I'm right and it's the ELISA, it's not hardly worth having it done since it misses around 70% of those that actually have Lyme disease.

Well, that means that your "official reading" is negative for that part of the test, as you had less than 1.0 - but again, that doesn't mean you don't have the infections, only that your body isn't producing antibodies to the bacteria.
