Yes, he can and does prescribe abx for lyme...I've been seeing him for almost a year now.
For some reason, the LLND's prescribing abx are left alone - and so are the MD's who practice outside of our Provincial healthcare system.
There is a Dr. in Vancouver - who has a practice - that is outside of the healthcare - so you pay for every visit...he does a modified version of the marshall protocol - it does involve long-term antibotics along with suppression of vit. d levels.
He has been openly treating lyme disease for several years...and is still practicing.
To be safe, I still use only his initials when talking about him...just in case. (referring to my Dr. - Dr. C)
