Hi all,
I'm a month into the 2 month doxy course.
I've been doing OK taking doxy with meals. But the last few days I've been feeling nauseous.
Is there anything over the counter I can try taking to help?
Thanks

Are you eating first, then taking the doxy? That's what I did..
Ginger is good for nausea. Peppermint is another one.
You could take it in tea form.

I took it for a month...towards the end there i started get a lot more nausea. I just took it right after a meal and i could usually get through it fine. Keep upright/lots of water/food... I was reading somewhere that someone had been using the tablet form and doing better with that...there is also a monohydrate (that i took for a few weeks---no issues) vs the hyclate ..mono is suppose to be easier on the stomach.

I take it right in the middle of a meal. The past 2 days I was only nauseous for a few hours after taking it but today I didn't feel good up until I needed my next dose.
Is ginger tea that comes in a box OK or do I need to boil real ginger?

I have used ginger tea in a box...find a good brand - maybe go to a health food store...if you have one where you live.

I have to try Ginger tea myself.
I have ginger candies, peppermint tea, Zofran , Phenergan and scopolamine patch myself. some days I just want to die, nothing helps
Good luck.

I haven't tried it yet, but a lot of people recommend Alka Seltzer Gold. I just ordered some myself (they don't sell it in stores).
