I have now had 10 sessions of IV chelation for heavy metals, and a lot is coming to light, which I thought might be helpful to others. Prior to having the test for heavy metals, I was really on a plateau. I wasn't getting better or worse and I was so accustomed to limping along at a subpar level that I wasn't really noticing much. It was more of a familiar discomfort. Since I have started the chelation, I am having many more symptoms that are being stirred up. It is a bit as though I was walking around with a light shinning on myself and now that the light is dimming, all the roaches(Lyme)are coming out and finding new places to attach. I honestly don't believe that any of the treatment that I was doing prior to this was helping at all because it couldn't reach the Lyme, since the heavy metals were in the way.
So I am encouraging everyone to get tested for metals, because unless you clean that out of your system, I don't think you will be able to reach the Lyme. This is going to be a long haul and I am hopeful that I am on the right path. I am just afraid it is going to be a really long one.
BTW, anyone who has had success with Lyme treatments without heavy metal testing, I applaud you. This is merely a suggestion for anyone who may be stuck and wondering why you might not be moving along.
