Just wondering if anyone has experienced die-off when taking a good probiotic? My acne is flaring, mood and energy are in the tank despite regulated thyroid meds and same abx dosages and detoxing.
I assume this would be considered a "good" thing?
Started taking Garden of Life Ultimate Care 100 billion (not cheap!) a couple of weeks ago after trying several other brands.

It could be what's going on. Do you think you may have had some yeast/fungal issues before you started taking it? You could increase your detoxing and see if that has an impact on these symptoms. Die off is known to happen with yeast as it does with Lyme.

I thought yeast die off too, but prior to taking this, I had finally achieved the clearest skin I have ever had in my life for about
a month. It was not long after starting Rifampin when it started to clear up.
Then, all of a sudden, a few days ago, it's back! ACK! I haven't noticed any other yeast symptoms in the past. I guess if I was tired or grumpy, I always attributed it to lyme & bart.
Sure hope it is not candida. Would like to enjoy some vegan gluten free birthday cake today!!

So is today your birthday??? If so, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! If not, then enjoy anyway!! LOL!
How long have you been on Rifampin? It could be your skin starting to push out lots of toxins as well. It's possible that the probiotics could have made it easier for you to get rid of more toxins.

Why yes it is, thank you! :)
I started Rifampin Aug 3. My skin was an absolute mess prior. Worst cystic acne of my life. The clear up caught me totally off guard, not only was it clear, but it was incredibly smooth and soft. Believe me, if I knew what I did to get it that way, I would bottle that up and make millions, lol!

Lots of people would buy whatever it took, I'm sure, and I only had a short bout of it!
