Well... my Dr. "Tries" to work with me, I've had 4 wb done through quest... my insurance pays for them and here are my results:

Oct 2014: 23 igm, 41 igg
Lyme ab: 1.40 H

Jan 2015: 58 igg, 41 igg

June 2015: 41 igg

These are all through quest...and im waiting on results for my last blood work, my thyroid was a little low. My thing is... I saw a naturopath Dr. Who did a live blood analysis and muscle testing... she said I didnt test for any lyme, that maybe it was false positive because of rheumatoid arthritis or a bacteria in my mouth... the Dr. That im seeing now... has dx me with lyme but doesnt know a lot about it, so as of right now the naturopath told me I didnt have Lyme, and my only tx has been zithromax like a reg zpack dosage off and on, 2 weeks of doxy (which helped put me in a remission for a while but symptoms came back) and amoxicillian over the summer 2000 mg a day for 30 days, my symptoms are different from day to day: eye floaters, leg pain, back pain, neck pain (sometimes my neck feels like the sudes of it are popping) jaw pain stiffness, headaches, sweating at night... woke up last night with sweaty legs... HAS ANYONE HAD THIS? And sticky bloodshot eyes, allergy like symptoms, sinus pressure, dizzy, tired, nausea, swollen lymph nodes, nausea, picky feeling on body like Im wearing an itchy sweater all the time, and random rashes. DOES THIS STILL SOUND LIKE LYME? WHAT ARE YOUR OPINIONS? Im soo sick of being sick and even worse getting the "go around" I want more children, I want to be a nurse... Im 26 and I havent worked or went to school in two years... its very painful! Oh ya and I cant sleep!! I dream like all night... crazy weird dreams too... Im anxious/ depresses!!!

Does it sound like Lyme still???

Sorry if this doesnt make much sense... thank you all, you guys are the ONLY ones that understand!

Many of your symptoms are just like mine! And yes, the dreams are mad !!! Personally it sounds like lyme to me....

After a similar run around (I had an EM rash but neg blood test from crappy lab) I decided on herbs. Have you considered this option? You can buy them without needing a doc and tailor them to 'fit', so to speak.

I have considered herbs, I was trying to slowly go that way with the naturopath but I am poor right now lol its expansive to have Lyme disease! I also quit detoxing due to "not" having Lyme any more... did you ever send your blood to Igenex? My parents said they might be able to help me if I send it off to there... just to see if anything shows up there. I would like to try herbs though, I believe in them!

Here is the problem. You have one doc that says yes you have lyme and one that says no you don't. My opinion is that paying for another test results in what happening? What will you do with those results? I have personally found out that a test is just a test. The REAL diagnosis is your symptoms.

The doctor that you are now seeing that says Yes you have lyme should point you to someone that does know something.

You need to read the first post on this forum and it will tell you how to find a Lyme Literate Medical Doctor. Someone that is trained in treating lyme. Or if you would like, you can make a post with the title that says "I need a lyme doctor in _________" Someone will come along with a suggestion in an email to you because we don't name doctors on here.

Sorry you are hurting. I am new here and it is where I ended up because I was not getting information or treatment like my intuition said I should. I came searching for answers too. Hang in there and someone will come give you better advice than I have.

Thank you! I agree, I am trying to figure things out financially I am relying on my medicaid to pay for me and havent had any luck in finding an LLMD in Michigan willing to take medicaid

I have found my personal experience with muscle testing is the results are only as good as the practioner on that day. Many things can interfere with the interpretation of the signals.

You may not have "lyme" per se, but one or more of many other tick-borne co-infections that come with lyme and have similar symptoms, and can be treated with the same or similar herbs or abx.

Yeast and low thyroid can also cause some of the same symptoms like fatigue, brain fog, and irritability so it can be hard to figure out what is going on. Even if you are just "borderline" low on thyroid, medication can do wonders by bringing you back to a more optimal range. AND, thyroid hormone is necessary for your immune system to fight.

Most LLMDs do not take insurance, therefore visits are out of pocket. But, my insurance has picked up the majority of the cost of medications. See if you can find an LLMD that you want to work with and find out if they have payment plans. You really cannot put a price on your health because if you don't have your health, it's really hard to have anything else - job, relationships, quality of life, etc.

What to say or do, hitting walls.

Yeah, I get it, bc, not only do we feel
overwhelmed and confused,
but we tend to
get the run around,
dragging the diagnosis out,
and treatment.
I shared many of your symptoms,
waking up withsweating legs-
do you have Bart streaks on them yet?

I love the herbs I'm on bc many of my symptoms
have gone away.
So keep that in mind as an option,
Read learn and know that knowledge
Is power.
