GH - do you have a link to an example of the type of diet that you recommend?
No, it's a modified Wahls diet that I had to eat to get straight. I hate to say it but IMO, there's not much left to eat that won't cause issues. The number one priority is to make sure there isn't too much ammonia production. Number two priority is to start changing the GI flora through raw foods (if possible.) Some people can't tolerate this and it has to go very slow. Our problems are with our GI flora, borrelia or babesia just contributes to that. Another issue could be anaerobes under root canals or fillings contributing to our immune issues.
IMO, my problem was too much fat from oils and my omega 3/omega 6 ratio was not good. Remember, these are acids. My protein intake was too high, these are acids. My GI bacteria were not in the proper proportions and needed altering. Raw veggies for a month changed all of this for me. It didn't cure me, but it was the first step that got me going in the right direction.
