Ketek for Lyme

I was recently speaking to someone who had Lyme for 18 months before being diagnosed and she took 8 months of Ketek and was completely cured. They don't give this for this length of time anymore due to it being a Class 5 drug and can shut your liver down but was curious has anyone had any experience with this? Sounds like a very effective macrolide. Thx.

I was on Ketek for 2 or 3 months (I'm sorry, I'm not sure, but I think it was 2 months).

I was so scared when I had to start that antibiotic, because of all the things I read about it, but decided to trust my dr and give it a try (after 3 weeks of doubting).
After 1,5 months, I had the first 5 good days in years. At the same time, my cytokines went high up.

I think I would take it again, but combined with some serious detoxing...
