Just babs or another co-infection?

I tested positive for Babesia. Have had it for about 6 months now. Had lyme for 6 years, and that was in remission. Never had it really bad, and have been fine ever since this past tick

When I got bit by this new tick my legs have always been so messed up. It seems like it's more in the nerves like sometimes the muscles get really tight and tough to walk. Muscle twitching (classic lyme symptom). I did have air hunger and the heart palpitations which I know are common symptoms of Babs.

I've taken antibiotics since May-June. Doxy and mepron. After we knew it was Babs they put me on Malarone and zithro. The zithro seemed to help the legs a little. Malarone didn't really do much of anything. I started researching Arteminsin and the wonders it does for people. It's taken away 95% of the heart issues.

My lyme literate was so confident that the legs were a Babesia problem, but I feel it's something else, because the artemisin I think would have showed a herx or something in the legs. They never tested me for Bart or another co-infection. Doxy, mepron, malarone, hasn't really showed any success which somewhat makes me wonder could this be Bart or something else.

Any thoughts? I would think Bart is more muscle / nerve problems.

I agree with you Traveler. It's odd to me that if this was Lyme again or a different strain that Being on Doxy for roughly 12 weeks and Mepron and both of those were at higher dosages did really nothing. Not even a herx. Zithro caused a little herx in the legs. I truly believe the legs are a symptom of Bart as I've never done treatment yet for Bart. I've done it for both Babs and Lyme.

Any thoughts on a good Bart protocol? I'd like to do more eastern medicine if possible. Right now I'm doing Buhner's protocol for Babs and Artemisin.
