Check your insurance policy.
I've never had an insurance company pay at in-network rates for out-of-network labs even if the tests were ordered by an in-network doctor...
But I wouldn't waste the time & effort on coinfection testing - many LLMD's believe is better to try treatments for coinfections and see if you herx and/or improve.
Furthermore, if you get a negative test result, that may affect your ability to get prescriptions specific to certain coinfections covered (insurance may point to the negative test result and use that to justify rejection of the claim).
