question re: LDN expiry date

a friend gave me their bottle of LDN (did nothing for them). It's dated May 2014. It says on the label EXPIRY 6 MONTHS. I have my own so it doesn't matter, I was thinking of using my friend's though so I can save mine for later/save money.

Does anyone know if it loses all its effectiveness after it supposedly expires?

Why not call the pharmacist that filled your prescription and ask the same "hypothetical" question?

If you are able to use the friend's Rx, I'd be inclined to alternate doses of his/hers and yours....in the event the fillers are different and you respond somewhat differently.

Or, just pay close attention to how you feel if you take your friend's Rx for a succession of days.
