Hello all,
I would say that in the past 8 months, I have noticed that my skin between my eyebrows and eyelids has drooped. Not my eye lids, they seem to be fine. However, I am genetically predisposed to somewhat of having heavier brow area, but, lately, I have been getting so miffed that I need to continually clean my glasses as my brow area keeps hitting my lens. Same glasses for the last 3 years, so its not because of new glasses. I was dx in late July with late stage Lyme, with the rest of my issues and test results to come this Dec. 2nd.
Is this something anyone has dealt with, or am I just starting to sag and age? I thought I had read somewhere that this issue can be lyme related. I don't see myself as having Bells Palsy, however, on rare occasion, I will drool out of nowhere. Curios to see if anyone else has this issue or has heard of this.
On to my next dilemma.......the dreaded dentist, I used to be a twice per year dentist visit, teeth cleaning person albeit I have extremely sensitive teeth. Always have. However, ever since being dx with Lyme and actually a few months prior to that, my teeth are super sensitive,. So much to the fact that I can not even fathom a hygienist to touch my teeth with anything metal. It will send me through the roof! I have all I can do to floss and brush my teeth daily without scolding myself for causing pain and discomfort.
Well, I have a couple of teeth acting up, over an above the usual sensitivities, and I know I need to get into the dentist. Anyone have this issue or any advice on how to go about this? I also am aware that having dental work done while being treated for Lyme is a touchy subject. I do know I will never ever have a root canal. They will pull that sucker before I have one of those. I have several crowns in my mouth, and those are about all I can handle. I have hated the dentist since childhood, and still to this day swear I would birth my 10+ pound baby girl again any day than go to the dentist.
I just cant get past the idea of them touching my teeth without me causing them bodily harm lol. Thanks for your input all!
To tie me over, I am applying Cloves essential oils to my overly sensitive teeth areas, and it does give me some relief, however, I know there is something more going on that needs to be addressed
