Eleuthero and BP

Okay, I am ready to start Eleuthero and I am reading that it is for energy and a stimulant. I have no brain fog or energy issues. I am no longer napping in the middle of the day. But my concern is my blood pressure. I am fighting blood pressure issues with this lyme and I certainly do not want to start something that could raise it. Any ideas? I know Buhner's herbs work synergistically so is it imperative?

I have been taking Eluthero as per Buhner for a few months. I started with low blood pressure (it's always been low) and when I had it taken last week it's still low. (I get mine done at the pharmacy on the way past about once a month).

So it hasn't raised mine. At all, lol. BUT I know we are all different monsters.... ;)

HOLY CRA#, thats awesome. There are so many variable that cause this. MANY. Do you realize what a step that is?

Eleuthero- why do you want to take this then, since is for energy (adrenal related)?

This is one of the four ginseng's, they all have a different feel.

I tried them for adrenal issues, holy basil worked better for me and lowered my blood sugar. But many like ginsings. (Wacked adrenals can make high glucose.)

PeteZa, so you did the complete Buhrner protocal?

That takes some $, determination to stick with it and patients. Not easily hidden either (the work place would find out).

I've come to realize ABX is most attractive for lazy people who are broke and like stealth mode (Why I tried it), but might not be as effective.

If my heart flutters go away I think it is the Eleuthero. So far, no elethero and no flutters.

Astroman, I did abx on the advice of my LLMD. I didn't want to continue that, so I am slowing adding each new part of the Buhner protocol so I cannot say I am taking "the protocol" yet. So far I don't handle 2 items.

Slow and easy is so important and I am so glad I listened to this. Because otherwise I would not know which herb doesn't agree with me.

Oh, you are working and trying to take the herbs? Tell them you are on a health kick and it is just something you wanted to try to get healthier. They cannot do anything about that. If you think they will snoop to see your herbs you can put tape over the titles and label them so you know what they are and no one else does.

As for the money, well it is expensive - especially when you have 4 oz bottle and you learn you can't take it. So lesson learned!!! Buy small until you are sure you can handle it. But I will make adjustments to get well. If I have to turn off my satellite tv, so be it. That is one frivolous expense I have. My cell phone is a dumb phone and it is only $25 a month but I could do without that too. There is always something I could go without to be healthier.

Please take comfort in knowing that Buhner's recommendations are just that: recommendations. He repeatedly mentions this in his books. He also mentions trying things that you think might help.

His biggest emphasis is listening to your body more than anything else.

If Sida and Eleuthero aren't for you, they aren't for you. You'll find what works - there are enough herbs to choose from.

Girlie- thats good.

Many places in the US just fire sick people, its the normal thing to do now. The mentality is there's always someone else who wants your job. Wasnt like that before the rescission.
