Adding Rifampin to Zithro/Malarone combo for Babesia?

I'm currently on Zithro/Malarone and have a script for Rifampin. Would this addition help with eradicating Babesia?

Rifampin does lower the ability of malarone to be absorbed, though I'm not sure by how much. Some people avoid the combo because of this but I've also seen people who knew this and took the combo anyways.

The addition of rifampin to zith/malarone would not do anything more to babesia than just zith/malarone alone because rifampin is not active against babesia.

Pete I've read in other circles that rifampin does have impact against Babesia. That doesn't seem to be the prevailing wisdom around town though.

I also have not known Rifampin to have an impact on babs.

here is a study on mice and in vitro. looks like the cipro and rifampin combo does have demonstrative impact on apicomplexan parasites like babesia.
