I get these bruises too, not sore, appear randomly, except mine are a more pinkish-red-purple. Not often, but enough to remember.

Like you, they always seem to be around my knees. Though, I get them on my arms sometimes as well.

I don't know. It'd be nice to.

Hi girlie,

I have lots of bruising on my legs as well. It looks really bad sometimes and I can't even remember hitting anything. I also have chills and shiver quite often. I can't tolerate the cold at all. When I have to go outside in the cold I get freezing cold right away and don't warm up for hours.
I am currently being treated for babesia and Bartonella as well. Right now I am on mepron 2x5ml a day and azithromycin 500mg a day along with mc bar a herbal blend for Bartonella and a-bab a concentrated herbal blend to treat babesia.

I have to say since I started this treatment I am in a lot of pain in my knée joints, my left leg is completely messed up and I bruise right away.

I also have pain in my knee joints.

It started soon after lyme treatment - started to get better, but since starting bart treatment, it's gotten worse - in fact my right knee was really bad for three days - no swelling, but I couldn't even bend it...so had to walk straight legged. Getting in and out of the bath tub was difficult, as well as going up the stairs to our 2nd level of our home.

That was about 4 or 5 weeks ago....and I can still feel it. Sometimes my whole leg would ache.

How long have you been on the mepron and zithro? - and did you react - either a herx..or starting to feel better?

Haha Antonio! - Now I imagined it, too....that's what it felt like - try walking around like that - it's not easy. Getting in and out of the car - now that was a challenge.
And, my other knee isn't too great either - so I didn't have much support on that leg...haha.

I was on my way to knee replacement surgery when I got bit. I was going to do it this spring ('16). First one knee and then the other. So I got bite April 29, got a head ache June 20 and my knees start hurting. So I made an appt and had both knees injected with steroids June 30th. I had no idea I had lyme and all heck broke loose July 1.

That's SUPER weird. I had brusing in the same exact spot. It was above my knee on the inner thigh of both thighs. It didn't hurt. I was thinking that there was a lymph node there or something. It went away after a week or two. It struck me as odd, so I remembered it.

I am starting to think that I have Babesia. Igenex said no, but I still think that I do. It doesnt seem like any of the abx that I'm taking (and I'm taking a lot) is doing anything to fix my neuro issues. Still have twitching, feverish dreams, head pressure, eye problems, alz like symptoms, ect. I think I'll ask my LLMD if I can treat for Babesia next time I visit him.
