Facial pain...am I alone on this one?

Good evening everyone. Basic symptom question here. My symptoms constantly rove around, and this week, it's been all in my face. Eye pain, pain around the eye, pain inside my nose, random pain stabbing in my face. I'm just wondering....if this is something anyone else here has experienced? While I did have a positive lyme test, I live in terrible fear that something else is happening to me, neurologically. I know I need to go speak with a doctor and address my fears, but until I can do that, it's comforting to know that others have experienced these symptoms. I just never dreamed that one disease could come up with so many new and varied ways to torture me!!

I had severe stabbing pain in the eye area, it felt like the orbital bones to be exact but with treatment it seemed to go away until today. Just had one this afternoon. Can't say that I missed it much.

Most definitely. It is very typical for Lyme. I even had facial swelling, which scared me.

I don't know what you are doing for detox. Look into detox methods. Detox can make a huge difference. I know it is scary, but you will be amazed at what good detoxing will do to help!

Hi, my symptoms all started on my feet and kept crawling up to my calves and finally my head. Between Jul and Aug went 6 times to ER with ice picking stabbing pain behind my eyes and all over my head. I would change the name of LD to SD(Stabbing Disease), cuz it is the most terrifying pain ever (beside the vertigo I had for a whole week); stabbing pain on my ankles, stabbing pain on my abdomen and chest that would wake me up screaming in the middle of the night. Few months ago had to call my coworker to go pick me up from cafeteria cuz after I paid my food, tried to move my right leg and had the feeling of a spear going trough my knee, tried to move left leg, same thing, I could not move! I just stood in line crying while ppl were looking at me like if I was a weirdo; thank God for cel phones and my wonderful coworker! Months of abx and the stabbing pain is mostly concentrated on my face, random stabs on ears, jaw, cheeks and nose, plus the annoying pinching on eyelashes and eyebrows. I also have very painfully arches, can't stand for more than 15 min at a time. If you don't mind Raincity, would you share which bands were you positive for and If you ever had a rash? Were you or any of these ppl with eye pain tested for Bartonella?

Yep, count me in with the group that deal with/have dealt with those things as well! Random facial pain, and facial muscle twitching - including months of constant eye lid twitching. That was certainly irritating!!

And many docs are now understanding that the combination of Lyme with Bart in the same body will usually show up as increased neuro symptoms - so it's not just the patients that are saying this!

I would also agree with the suggestions of detoxing! I'm often teased because I will say that people need to 'detox, detox, detox' - and it needs to be daily help that we give our body by detoxing. Not to mention the toxins from life that we get, but each time one of those bacteria die off, they leave behind Neurotoxins.
