Stabbing head pain and throbbing ache

Happy New Years Eve!

Just wanted to see if anyone else gets the stabbing head pain and pressure and throbbing? I usually get it once a week or so and it starts at about 4pm and goes away by morning. It is a head ache but also horrible throbbing pain and then stabbing pain upon movement. I have gotten it for 4 nights straight and now on the 5th night it hasn't gone away. It is a bit less but still have it 2 days later after it started on the night of the 29th. Spent all day in bed sleeping yesterday....which I never do because of my two year old, but had family here to help out.

I texted my LLMD and he said definitely a herx and stop the medicine for two days or so.

Does anyone get this? I'm thinking it might be babesia, but it spreads into my neck and makes me nauseous at times. I can't take ibuprofen, but can try Tylenol just not sure I want to tax my liver anymore than it is. I have been detoxing and even took two detox baths yesterday and dry skin brushed and drank lots of water and took glutathione! I'm thinking maybe take more magnesium but not sure.

I used to get those as well and detoxing was the only thing that even seemed to make a dent in the severity of it, but I never found a 'quick fix', other than acupuncture by a very intuitive practitioner. That was the only thing that helped a lot of my pain. Prescription pain meds didn't help enough, as I wasn't willing to use the really high powered stuff.

One of my first symptoms was head pain. Behind my ear. I also had pain on my clavicle. I refused to call it a headache because I knew better. The Internal Medicine doctor gave me everything for it and nothing, including narcotics, touched it at all. Of course I was sent for a brain scan and then to a neurologist. Negative on the brain scan. Neurologist said "you don't get a headache with lyme." I had one heck of a time explaining the pain. I have had a migraine, a headache and a hangover. This was weird. I would swim in a cold lake and the pain would subside for awhile. I spent a lot of days last summer in that lake. When I finally took herbs to help my lymph system, that is when I found relief.

The one that was the "icing on the cake" was Red Root. Although Japanese Knotweed began the help process. Just remember that we are all different. Read the interactions and side effects of any herb before taking. Start low and go slow.
