Thank you all for your kind suggestions. I believe that I may have found the answer.
On a hunch, I took 100mg of fluconazole that I had in my drawer and within a few hours it calmed the gastritis, the gurgling, and the intestinal spasms. Yup, everything points to a systemic Candida infection.
As I think about
what is going on, some things are beginning to make sense. You see, my vision has been deteriorating rapidly as of recent. I have also had a constant itch on the outer end of the colon. I was developing nerve spasms in my right hand's index finger, I have itching all over the body, tingling in my extremities, I would get ear ringing within minutes of eating fruit, nothing was helping the brain fog, and things seem to have gotten worse since I ran out of Monolaurin.
I attributed these symptoms to the different antibiotics that my new LLMD has me on as well as herxing symptoms from the new herbs that I had recently added.
But let me tell you, I have the worst headache that I have had in a very, very long time. Classic herx headache. Plus may of the symptoms that I mentioned above have gotten better or gone away with just one pill of fluconazole.
So as I add it up, the major herx and the improvement of symptoms, I am leaning towards it being Candida and in a major way. I guess that for now I am going to read as much as I can on Candida and ask my docs for Nystatin powder to help out the Fluconazole and reorder the Monolaurin which I think was keeping it at bay. I think I have some pau' D arco in my drawer so as soon as this debilitating headache eases up a little I am going to throw more stuff to it.
I guess that the Clindamycin broke the camel's back as they say and it killed whatever few remaining bacteria that I had left after years of being on antibiotics. When it is not one thing, it is another, I just can't seem to get the upper hand on these infections.
