I'm sorry I don't know the answer to your question but I do know many have taken that particular meds combination.
It's been quiet on the forum the past couple of days.
You might get more attention with this thread if you title it with something like "Mepron/Zithromax dosing question".
If nothing more, you get a bump :)

My daughter is suppose to start that combination of antibiotics in a week, and we were told to do it at the same time. I hope that helps.

Mepron is supposed to be used with a class of medications called Macrolides. Azithromycin is the most common Macrolide antibiotic that I have seen used with Mepron.

I always took them, and all ABX and herbals together. Just take Magnesium and probiotics as far away from ABX as possible.

they may be taken together, just bear this in mind -
it is recommended that mepron be taken with food
zithromax can be taken with or without food - but certain individuals need to take it with food as it can upset their stomach.
i took as much as I could together so I wouldn't forget to take what I needed to take!!
are you taking them both twice a day? I would take them together - but with meals!!

You have to take Mepron with a fat, like peanut butter or coconut oil. But yes, you can take them together.

Hi Rebecca.s - welcome to our community!
Since you are new to the forum, I'd like to point out the thread at the top of the page titled "New to Lyme?...Start Here!"
It's full of great information - maybe take a look at it.
I hope you find this to be a supportive, knowledgeable place to come - to read, post, vent...and ask questions.
