My LLd is closing his practice and I need to find
1. A doc who can deal with a port
2. A doc with connections to take out a port
3. Practices traditional and natural medicine
4. Will take patients from out of state
5. Does edta and dmps challenges

PLEASE share if your know of BAD doctors I should stay away from. I know there are a few.
I live in Texas and have had to travel so I don't mind as long as she or he or she is sound.

So sorry for the reason you're here but glad you found us.

And, sorry that your LLMD is closing his practice! It's too bad he can't refer you to another LLMD.

One way to find a LLMD is through the ILADS site that offers a physician referral feature:

ilads.org/ilads_media/physician-referral/

And, maybe you could find a local Lyme support group that might also be able to give feedback.

I'm sure others will be along soon with more info.

Hi! Yes it is very sad. The physicians they referred from IlADs practice in Texas and they are not as flexible in their treatment as doctors from other states. I'm really at a loss because I have a port and need to find someone that can deal with it. I have come so far I and I am determined not to go backwards and need continued care. I don't care where it is.

I don't know for sure about all of those things, but there is a possibility I know of a LLD in Oregon that might fit your needs. If this is a possibility for you, please email me and let me know that you are the one that needs a doctor that fits those criteria.
