I prefer to recommend full protocols rather than individual herbs - people a LOT smarter than me created those protocols and there are a few that really seem to work well for most people. If they don't work for a person, there are the lesser known protocols (like the one that I used), but those are really a 'hit or miss' a lot of times.
The most common herbal protocols used with good success have been
Buhner's:

If you are in the US, there is also the Byron White protocols - although there is one practitioner in Australia and one in Canada that use these as well. So maybe you could convince a practitioner to order it?

herxing extensively on here - so you've likely read quite a bit about
that. Please let us know if you have any questions about
it though - or anything else!!
Having Lyme creates an incredibly steep learning curve - it's best to lean on those you can trust until you can kind of get caught up.
Detoxing is almost as important as treatment for many of us - as a matter of fact, there are some of us that detoxing is more important, because without detoxing we can't handle any of the treatments. We have a great list of detoxing suggestions in the "New to Lyme?" thread and there are some really great suggestions on this page as well:

them!! Do some reading on the stories of those that have used those protocols here and in other places.
