The "New to Lyme" thread has a comprehensive list of Babesia symptoms as well as a link to a really good chart that lists symptoms for all the infections.
While there is a LOT of overlap of symptoms among these infections, Babesia is known to cause extreme fatigue, air hunger, chest pressure, head pressure, drenching sweats (especially at night) among other things.
Not everyone will have every symptom and even the CDC acknowledges that people be asymptomatic yet infected with Babesia:
www.cdc.gov/parasites/babesiosis/"Although many people who are infected with Babesia do not have symptoms, for those who do effective treatment is available."
The CDC is actually right about
this - it is treatable. Some people have trouble clearing the infection and that could be due to an underlying, untreated other kind of infection (such as Lyme, Bartonella, etc.)
Still, people heal from these infections.
Also, it's possible to have a Babesia-like infection:

My heart breaks for you with this. It's hard enough for adults to deal with these infections but incredibly painful to think a child is suffering :(
