Fellow Canadians - video - Dr. Murakami on Lyme disease and CBD oil

I have been communicating with my cousin a lot lately - as she is being tested for Lyme disease now...
We have discussed the CBD oil - which got us talking about Dr. Murakami and she sent me this link.

One thing he said - he mentioned the word 'eggs' - as a lyme form....anyone know what that is?

I did a little sleuthing on the topic. I remember coming across this term when Heather was sick. Blebs are yet another form of the Borrelia bacterium. It is extremely small in size. A bleb isn't biologically active, but it contains "mini-chromosomes" of the original spirochete, and can change back again into a spirochete if certain conditions are met. If I understand correctly, blebs may be formed within a cyst, but then may later be distributed independently outside of the cyst at other locations in the body. I know...he's a special man...

I called him today...and am waiting for him to call me back.

I've spoken to him twice...anyone can call him...He is so dedicated to helping people with LD. He will speak to anyone's MD, too, and guide the treatment.
I'm specifically asking about the CBD oil. I already found where I can purchase it...no prescription necessary. I think it's about $60 for a couple weeks...so $120 a month - not cheap...but if it works...it's worth it.

Don - I missed your post ....so was Dr. M saying "blebs" and I heard "eggs"?

dmw52 - I am hoping for more than symptom relief - wouldn't it be great if it actually kills the bacteria?

I haven't ordered mine yet. I haven't heard back from Dr. M yet.

BTW - if you find it works you might want to order more awhile before you're finished your stock - they sometimes sell out.

When I was discussing the CBD oil I said to my hubby, "It won't make me "high"..will it?"
He said "I hope so."

happyjo- I am new to this idea...so don't have a clue about purity...but hopefully will have some time to do a bit of research....or just pick my cousin's brain. She is meeting with a friend today who has lyme..and has been using it regularly...she said she finally has her life back.

Thanks, Summersun - so how do you get the proper dose? as in a grain of rice size...or is accuracy not crucial?

My cousin said the dosing is on his fb page...but I'm not a friend so don't know if I can see it.

I will be in touch with my cousin tomorrow and ask her if she can look it up.

I sent out an email to Dr. M. - haven't heard back yet. I look forward to hearing what your cousin has to say about this.

I honestly don't think it matters if the measurement is off a bit, otherwise they would have told me when I ordered it. So this is another question I have along the same line...is it a raw grain of rice or a cooked grain of rice?

I assumed it was a raw grain of rice too....must be.

Started taking it in the summer. Certain things improved in the fall (up until the holidays when I overdid it big time) such as dizziness and brain fog...had slightly more energy too. I can't say for sure that it was due to taking the oil though...but I think so. One weird thing though - my joint pain/swelling has actually gotten worse since taking it!

Girlie- I watched the presentation again. Dr. M. mentioned eggs several times, and I never heard him mention blebs. I agree with you that he may be referring to cysts that release their contents as eggs being released, based on the image that was shown . I have never hard of the concept of Borrelia "eggs" before.

Don - The term 'eggs' must be Dr. M's 'lingo' - I have never heard that term used before. But you're right - it looked like cysts.

Summersun - i had new symptoms appear after I started treatment - and it wasn't a herx....as it went on too long.
i started treating in July, 2014...and I believe it was in October when I got sore shoulders (the tops and fronts of both shoulders). I had trouble putting on my shirts and jackets. And they bothered me when i slept.

They started to get better in Feb of 2015 but then in April I took a 2 1/2 month break from treatment...and they got worse again.

I am happy to report...that they are about 80% better now (started treatment again in July)

It's so difficult figuring it all out...
