CBD Oil - going to try it....

I've been thinking about this for a while now. After speaking to Dr. Murakami a few days ago, I've decided to order some and give it a try.

He said many people are finding it to be a good pain reliever.

And studies have shown that it kills all forms of the lyme in test tubes...so I'm gonna give it a try.

I've also read testimonials of people saying it gave them their lives back.

So, Dr. M. told me how much to start with...and after I have been using it for a week or two, to give him another call.

Girlie have just googled it so know what it is ..... am tempted to try some myself from your comment quotes ....'kills all forms of lyme in test tubes' and 'gives people their lives back' I think I have to try it. Any particular brand you have been recommended ??

Girlie! Good luck! And do keep us updated on how it's going. I'm curious about this but have to give my protocol my all before I resort to this. I'm not in pain aside from the occasional headache which is tolerable and mild but I would be using it to treat my other symptoms.

Sandra29 - i read on the Bluebird site that they ship to all 50 States...lol....soomeone must have been smoking something' when they wrote ALL 50 states...

I don't know about the U.S., but here in Canada, currently (that could change)...no medical forms need to be signed for the CBD oil....but for medical marijuana you need to have forms filled out by your Dr.

I am surmising the reason is the CBD oil has hardly any THC in it....so you don't get the 'high' that you do with marijuana.

Sebreg - Studies have shown it to be anti-microbial - so co-infections should be targeted as well (again...not enough studies have been done)

Suzee - I haven't joined Dr. M's fb group ...but was still able to read a few testimonials.

I will know more once I call for my order. They aren't open until 11:00 (figures...lol)

Technically, hemp oil is not illegal - but I've read of many stories of those that don't live in states where Medical marijuana is legal and they had to go to court to defend themselves - after things were confiscated. I don't live in a state where MM is legal, so I haven't even tried it, as I don't have any desire to go through that.

I'll be interested in following along as well, Girlie! Like the others, I'll be interested in what you end up using, how much you use and how well it helps you.

I've talked with some others that have used it and most have said that it at least helps with pain, anxiety, eating, nausea, and sleep - so even if it doesn't help heal us, it can be a huge help with many symptoms!

I hope it helps you! I've just started to investigate this whole thing myself. I joined a FB group that focuses solely on healing Lyme with Cannabis, and what I've learned from them is that A LOT of the CBD oil sold (I think online, not so much from dispensaries) is made from hemp, and it's usually industrial waste and contaminated with all sorts of chemicals and not good at all.

Many people in that group have had success and remission + symptom relief with Cannabis Oil, which is different from CBD oil. It's basically Rick Simpson Oil, but not made with Naphtha.

I've tried some CBD from a local dispensary, but only tried it a few days and didn't find any relief...I was hoping to get relief from anxiety. I am looking at trying to get / make some Cannabis Oil, but my understanding is that I need to find the strains that work best for me, as not only does the CO manage symptoms, it also kills the bacteria.

THC is needed for healing as well, not just to get people "high". This is a common misunderstanding. There are many, many compounds in Medical Marijuana that help heal, and we are actually missing out on them by only concentrating on one aspect of the plant - just like the difference between artemesia annua and arteminisin - arteminisin is an extract of artemesia annua and for some people arteminisin won't work as well because they need the 'extras' in the plant, as they act synergistically with the active parts that are studied to help heal.

We knew someone that used rick simpson oil for his cancer. He had been 'given' 6 months to live and he went a year past that. His doctors at the VA couldn't understand why he was still alive and they couldn't find any sign of the cancer. They kept putting him through CAT scans (super carcinogenic) to see if there was any sign of cancer. Unfortunately, he fell down the stairs and hit his head and died of that a year later, but cancer free. Oh, the irony of life.
