I am new and don't have a lot of expertise to add, but want to do my part and share my experience......
I am an autoimmune mess, so this may not apply to you - but i made a huge mistake (unlike me...I usually take it slow) and took a large dose of methyl B12 a few months ago while in my crazed trial/error phase, and had a very scary reaction.
I didn't realize, until after the fact, that B12 draws from your potassium stores to do its thing. Not knowing I was potassium deficient, I went into extreme hyper mode...racing heart and palps. Thought I was having a heart attack and have never been so scared. Not a V-8 fan, prefer juicing, but keep low sodium V-8 around for emergencies (very high potassium) and chugged it and finally got back to normal....no problems after that.
Not saying at all that our bodies are alike, but am saying that Girlie's words are so important - no matter how fast we want to heal, every single thing should be started slowly. I always go slow AND do one at a time as well, to pay very close attention to how every supplement, etc. impacts my body. sounds like you will be adding a lot into your system....so do be safe and patient and add one at a time, at a relatively low dose, until your body gives you the "all clear" signal (no side effects).
It is easy to increase doses gradually, but it is not easy to undo a bad reaction. As for me, my body is trying so hard to keep going...like walking in quick sand...I want to make the path as easy as I can as I try to heal.
Best of luck to you!
Robin
