i am off carbs altogether for the candida diet, and every couple of days, I just go nuts on NEEDING some sort of carbohydrate. I do wonder and hope I am not starving my body too much of anything, but this "hunger" get so strong sometimes, so the other day I just went and ate a handful of crackers. For the first time in weeks, nothing happened upon eating carbs. I was reacting to anything I wasn't supposed to eat, so I guess the diet is working. I am surely not going to cheat because of this, but every couple of days, I suppose it is ok to eat a few potatoes or rice or the sort? Should I for the reason rowingmom posted?
Its just getting to be impossible. I have been doing this for 4 weeks and I am SO tired of sweet potatoes and turnips. LOL. those are about
the closest to carb I can get. All I am eating is veggies and protein (I am not even eating eggs bc i am sensitive to egg whites - or beans).
Today, I lost it. 39 boxes of girl scout
cookies came in. How could I RESIST? LOL
I had 1 of each
cookie (3
cookies total) Felt a reaction, but not nearly to the extent I would have a few weeks ago. Whew. Raincity said it wasn't too hard to avoid sweets. It was impossible in the beginning for me, but it is getting easier.....but I still couldn't resist those girl scout
cookies!!! LOL
