Girlie, Have you heard of Fluban Fine Chemicals or Valesko?

Girlie, if I recall correctly you are in Canada. I know it's a big place, but I wondered if you had heard of the company.

They are in Ontario. They go by Fludan Fine Chemicals (website fludan.com) and my credit card was charged by a company called Valesko.

Just before she went dark in August, I was talking about the pure Nystatin powder and my difficulty getting my doctor to write for it. She sent me a link to their site and one of the bottles of Nystatin they sell. She said "it looks pretty good and next month I'll place an order to make sure." After that she dropped out of sight.

It was no prescription required.

I decided to place an order myself and give it a try. After I got it, I posted some question about what it looked like and tasted like to make sure I had the right stuff. Others who have taken it in powder form (mixed with water) confirmed that the stuff I have looked and smelled the same as what people get got here in the US.

In looking at their website it seems that they create the powdered form of some drugs. They also sells the empty capsules and other things necessary to compound medications. I have come to the conclusion that they supply compounding pharmacies.

I don't know how or why they sell to individuals but I'm not going to look a gift horse in the mouth. I had looked into buying other meds in Canada and found that the US government says that if you keep your purchases to a 3 month supply they won't go after individuals.

So I am wondering what the company's reputation is because they do have other medications.

I can make better decisions about my care than any of the "doctors" I am seeing now, but I do want to make sure that the quality of the treatments I choose are good. Thus my question about their reputation.

I ordered the Nystatin and then tried it, then asked lots of questions on the forum to make sure it was really the right stuff. As far as I can tell, they are a reputable dealer. It appears that they "manufacture" chemicals that are used in compounded medication. So I am keeping the info I found on their site in the back of my mind when I weigh my options.

I don't really care that the stuff normally needs a script and I can get it there without one. My brain though keeps asking how they can do that (sell without a script) so it makes you wonder if it is too good to be true.

I agree that the Nystatin is good.
