With Amazon, its always best to go to something that says Amazon fulfilled and make sure all the items are "free shipping with $35 purchase". The actual price is no different. The savings is in the shipping costs. I'm pretty sure that both Nutramedix and Swanson sell directly on Amazon.
If you bought through a third party vendor (anyone other than Amazon) and there is a problem with the order, all orders are covered by the A to Z guarantee. If you have tried to sort the issue with the vendor but you are not satisfied, make a claim with A to Z guarantee. You have to call and it is hard to find the number but search for "Amazon customer service phone number".
I've had issues with vendors in the past and Amazon guarantees everything sold on their site. Most recently my son purchased a video game and when the disc came in it was bent and didn't run. I went back and forth with the vendor who said he would refund the cost of the disc but not the original shipping and I had to pay to ship it back to him. I called Amazon and made a claim. I got a full refund the next day and was told to keep the disc.
So in general Amazon is a good site.
