leelee, yes that is a very common symptom around here. As PeteZa said, weather systems have an impact too. I feel it when the pressure goes up and when it goes down.
Another thing that triggers it for me is strong smells. Of course, not smells are strong.
If you have Buhner's book look at the neurolyme stuff. There are some suggestions there that are good.
I am using Pinella from Nutramedix. It's listed as a Brain-Nerve cleanse. Llso, Burbur and Parsley that are listed as detox. I am using Jernigan's Neuro-Antitox II CNS/PNS for my son. He didn't have headaches but rages and it worked phenomenally well.
Burner's book also mentions Milk Thistle Seed 1200mg every three hours for front of the head headaches. Vervain (verbena officials) tincture 1/4 to 1 tsp as needed for back of the head headaches. Zudzu (pueria lobata) tincture 1/2 tsp 3-4x daily. Good thing I read that - autocorrect changed it to pure lobster. The kudzu is listed under "brain pressure". I had trouble finding that in the store. It could be just the store I was in and it would be worth a try at a bigger store than I have in my area.
Another thing he mentions is Taurine 125mg 3x daily. If I recall correctly, he said it prevents the body from producing aldehydes (?) which are toxins that are the result of sugars in our diet. For some reason when I read this I filed it away in my brain as having to do with toxins in the brain.
A few other things he has listed under brain: ginkgo biloba, standardized 150mg 2x daily ( for memory and cognitive function); gotu kola (centella asiatica) 1500mg 2x daily or 1/4 tsp tincture 2x daily listed under "brain 'feels toxic' ".
Hope this helps,
Kim
