To all my fellow lymies-

I have found such a great blog written by a women who has Lyme!! Her writing is hilarious, candid, and very moving. I absolutely love reading her words. The way she writes is amazing. it has made me both cry and laugh! It's called Will there be cake?

Wow interesting. I went right away to her comparison of treatments. Seems Cowden and Byron white are 4-7 months and the all time winner.

Ya it was great , she makes quite an interesting argument for abx .found it through lemonsnlyme? Who has done yrs of abx? Hmmm ,i want gf cake

What I noticed most from the link is the fact that many people used multiple methods to achieve remission....and almost 55% took maintenance doses of herbs or abx to maintain that remission.

This is really good. I have done both. The first time, picc line and all. After it came out of remission, I tried it again (sans picc line) and had very little progress. I am now doing buhner. She's right. It is very personal and people can get understandably attached to their way as the right way. Chronic illness is very personal. It is happening to the "me" of that person. The part that no one else can truly get.

I've been reading her blog for a while she has a style that makes you want to laugh while reading about serious stuff. Very therapeutic.
