I had that very same realization hit me over the head as I pieced my lifetime of health issues together! Here is what I very strongly believe my timeline is:
Age 7 - RMSF - very high fever of "unknown origin".
Age 8 - Chronic Bartonella
Age 9 - late stage chronic Lyme (Lyme arthritis showed up)
From there, the issues just continued to keep coming and others grew in intensity.
Many herxes are misdiagnosed as a drug allergy. I think I'd still be super careful to avoid the sulfa drugs until you heal though. No need to add misery on top of misery!
The herpes viruses are very, very common among Lyme patients. HHV6 and HHV4 (EBV) are the most common herpes infections that I see in my internet travels.
Yes, it's possible that those particular stretch marks could be Bartonella marks instead, I'm just not sure the likelihood of it. It would be interesting for you to keep an eye on them!!
-side note. It's possible that your difficult pregnancy and delivery were due to these infections as well. I was pregnant 5 times and carried two to term and I was sooo sick during that!! I had very difficult deliveries and ended up with a prolapsed uterus not long after the birth of my son, my youngest. Just another bit of information for you.
Is it possible that you could get your daughter to join and post? You have so much going on yourself, it would be really good if we could help both of you instead of you having to divide your time. We would love to have her join us!!
