So I am going along feeling rather good, and I get a back ache. It is right by what I call my windwing. Having been Suzy Jockette all my life I figure I pulled a muscle. I baby it and try not to injure it further, but cannot figure out how I hurt it. I always tell the bag person to pack my grocery bags heavy so I don't have to make so many trips into the house with bags, but I don't think my bags were THAT heavy. Evening comes and I have hubby put White Flower oil on my back. I love the smell and it won't stain jammies or sheets and it does feel good. The next morning it is less, but still there. I make breakfast and bend over to pick something up and put it in the garbage and oh my goodness IT'S BACK. Horribly back. I again baby it and try not to "check" and see if it is still hurting. Dinner time comes and I make dinner. We sit down to eat it and *poof* the back ache is gone. What the heck? This does not happen in real life. You do not go from horrible pain to zero in hours.
Lyme! Dog gone it. Where did that come from? I so do not understand you. Just a little note to tell me you are not gone yet?
So I added a B-Complex to my vitamins. I don't know what else. But it sure is sad to know that they (lyme bugs) still lurk in my body.

Great that your feeling pretty good. I'm in the midst of treatment and feel awfully sick everyday. I'm looking forward to having good days. I'm learning how strange these infections are and how you can go from feeling so sick to feeling normal in a few hours.

Hi PeteZa!-
I am sorry to hear about
your pain.
I like to think of Lyme bacteria the same as a traveling circus. Lol!
There are days that Lyme enjoys setting up their "rides" pain in every joint possible. I have had the pleasure of my thumb locking up, my knees giving out. I have had days of pain in my wrists, hips, shoulders, and especially my neck. I don't think that I haven't felt pain in any of my joints. I even had a week that my whole spine was sore. It felt like someone beat my spine with a baseball bat.
I just wish that Lyme would get the "hint" that it should leave and never come back.
I hope that you are able to find relief through the herbs that you taking and detoxing.
Sending you many ((hugs!))

I just started Gou Teng today. I think my ache feels like muscle, but maybe it is a nerve along the muscle? It won't hurt to take the Gou Teng. Just more to add to my journal.

I was so enjoying the "no symptom" (obviously just a phase) that I was in so I did nothing new. (Ain't broke, don't fix it mentality LOL) I think I will move onto the andrographis once I get the Gou Teng moving along.

Aren't the no symptom times nice? How is your back now, has it improved today?

Tillybear the back is fine but the leg is wonky. Never a dull moment with lyme. All kinds of surprises I could do without. But...... I always count my blessings. And I always know it could be worse, so I am thankful it is not.
Thank you for asking.

Ohhh the back ache...well I am right there w/ya PeteZa. Literally. I have NEVER had back issue type pain(except pain between shoulder blades) until recently. Mine started the 2nd week in Jan and is still here. It keeps coming and going. I thought it was my kidneys initially but the fact that it "migrates" around my back has led me to realize its the old lyme/co's decided to wreak some havoc in there for awhile I suppose. I also even had went and got it checked out on 2 diff occasions with scans and tests because it had me pretty alarmed there for awhile.
On a positive note though, I just told the hubby (and praised the man up stairs) literally a couple hours ago for being symptom free this evening! I dont think Im done with the back pain as it comes and goes but I am SO thankful for this night.
You said it "never a dull moment with lyme"!! is right.
Hang in there PeteZa...dont let this get you down--keep kicking some lyme butt and get to the point where you
are
symptom free for good ;-)
