Hi HMidJul!
Welcome to our community! I'm so glad you found us!
If you haven't yet, it would be helpful for you to start with reading through the thread at the top of the forum titled,"New to Lyme?...Start here!!", as it is packed full of important information, symptom lists, helpful links and pdf's, how to detox when one has these infections, information on probiotics and much more. And this is another good list of possible detoxing routines:
www.tiredoflyme.com/detox-methods.html Chronic Lyme is far from the worst thing. Lots of people recover from it - I did, but then got reinfected again. And to treat in order to not have chronic Lyme, you must get appropriate treatment within the first couple of weeks. Many miss that window of opportunity, so don't feel bad.
Are you in treatment now? If so, what is your treatment protocol? You didn't mention if you had treated 2 months past the end of your symptoms or not that I saw.
Are you opposed to using an herbal protocol? You could start it quickly and use it slowly so that it won't interfere with you working or going on to college (good for you!).
Chronic Lyme only means that you need to always be aware of the stress you are under, eat healthy and take good care of yourself once it's in remission. These are all things we are supposed to be doing anyway.
