Numbness is in many cases related to nerves being affected, there are lots of neurological symptoms that come with lyme. Many are attributed to toxins from dead bacteria and to the immune system attacking the nerves by mistake, because their sheath looks similar to a part of the Borrelia bacteria. There are all sorts of manifestations: numbness, tingling, twitches, paresthesia, etc. It is reversible with treatment. You can make it less annoying by taking magnesium as supplement. Chelated magnesium is best , because it is well absorbed.
Yes lyme does affect circulation, we here use herbs to help with blood thinning. Many lyme herbs have this property, but i would say one that may only do good to your treatment is resveratrol (and especially resveratrol from japanese knotweed extract).
What blood test have you used ? The tests are really bad at detecting lyme, especially ELISA tests. Best is to do a WB test, and use a specialized lab that is more sensitive (like IgeneX).
A good idea is to find a lyme literate doctor (LLMD) asap. This forum can help you with that, you you
open a new message stating that you are seeking an LLMD and your state/country/area.
It is very important to find an LLMD soon. 3 weeks of antibiotics will not completely kill the bacteria, especially if the dosage is low. Because you have caught this so early, you have the chance of not letting the bug spread through your body, then it will be really hard to get rid of, so you need to make sure you are under the care of a specialist and take the appropriate number of weeks of antibiotic and in the right doses.
You probably don't know this but there is great controversy about
this disease, and the official guidelin
