Thanks you so much for sharing this, Sandra29!
You know, I've thought of what people go through with treatments for these infections and saw similarities with what people go through during a cancer battle. I was never comfortable sharing this thought before out of respect for cancer patients....until I read this article.
And, it ended with a note of hope that I think we all need to read once in awhile.
Thanks again :)

Thank you for sharing - great article. I will share with my husband later tonight.
Yes, cd - hope!
This reminded me of when my mom had late stage colon cancer at 55 years old - we knew it was bad...her second surgery was an '
open and close' - it had spread all over her body.
My hope was that the chemo would suppress the cancer and she would be able to live a few more years...and perhaps...by then a cure would be found... just hang on until a cure is found...

I also find it ludicrous to call all tick-borne disease, Lyme Disease. In breast cancer, we don't just say, "You have breast cancer," because that simply doesn't mean anything anymore. The language is important because it has a bearing on treatment.
My daughter's breast cancer was called "triple negative." It had a huge bearing on her treatment.
This article really rang true to me.
