Brown aging spots (Bart)

Because of my age I can't tell if they are lyme or age. So in my case, they just don't matter.

However, my opinion is that age spots are generally caused from sun exposure. My career was years in the sun from sun up to way beyond sunset. My best buddy is a housekeeper and she has age spots more so than I do. She has been indoors cleaning all her life. So go figure. I am about 4 shades more olive skinned than she is. Does this factor in? I don't think anyone knows.

I know that Bart treatment gets rid of the stretch type marks and those lil red pinpoint marks. I have not read about the age spots, but would assume that they would go away with treatment too.

If it really bothers you try some lemon juice on them. Just get a q-tip and soak it in lemon juice and dab it on the age spot. That won't hurt you or your skin and lemon has like a natural bleaching property to it. Some women put it on their hair to naturally bleach in the sun. Leave it on for about 30 minutes and do this a couple of times a day. Give it a couple of months and see if they get lighter. It will be gradual so maybe take a picture of before and after.

My spider veins have all but gone, as have those little red spots on my arms. I still get the rashes on my hand and feet from time to time. I have those brown spots too, on my legs, but I honestly thought they were just from me getting old (I'm 38, lol)....maybe they are?!? They are certainly still there. I do spend a lot of time in the sun (par for the course here), so it could just as well be from that??
