Which one is the best quality? I plan on incorporating it into my detoxing but don't know what kind to buy! There are so many. My LLND sells her own compounded version at a premium so I'm not sure whether I should buy hers or go to the health food store.

Oh I also have byron white detox 2 powder which I haven't taken so I don't know whether to take it or charcoal.

Does the byron white detox 2 powder contain a binder? That is what the Activated Charcoal is for. It's a binder.

As far as brands go, I just went to my local health food store for mine. I think they only carried two brands...so I did 'eenie, meenie, minie mo.'

Activated charcoal has been around and in use for a very long time. There are many really good brands out there, you don't have to buy a specially compounded one. If you by a brand that has a good reputation, that's enough with activated charcoal.

Detox 2 is pretty pricey so if you own that go ahead and use it. It's a clay based detox. A serving is 1/8 teaspoon. I mixed mine with a bit of applesauce.

Once you use up the Detox 2 you can switch to Activated Charcoal if you want to switch but don't waste the $ you spent on the Detox 2.

I found that if I mixed it with the bit of applesauce and let it sit for a few hours it no longer tasted like I was eating charcoal. It had almost no taste at all.

I used Nature's Way for a time. I can't say whether or not it helped, because I was dealing with a lot of constipation due to my GI issues, and, I mean, you gotta poop the stuff out for it to work.

Though, I imagine it does. I feel like products like this are hard to mess up. So long as it's got what the ingredients list says it's got, is devoid of any unwanted fillers, and has good reviews, go for it.

That said, if/when I get things moving at a steady pace again, I'll most likely go back to using their charcoal.

I, too, have used Nature's Way. It was nice to be able to buy an inexpensive supplement :) The best part is that it works ;)
