My theories on what is going wrong with me physiologically are based on my research and observation over the past few years. They were just educated thoughts based on research but I have now found research supporting my claims of polyamine depletion and the subsequent reduction of polyvalent cations. Research shows that polyvalent cations bind to complexes of spermidine and DNA. This article shows that during the protozoal production of trypanothione, intracellular spermidine and the other polyamines are decreased. It is a very complicated process but because these cations are now extracellular and no longer have transport proteins back through the cellular membrane, they will be eliminated. They are bound to serum transport proteins which will help in their elimination and decrease their levels. This makes supplementing orally with things like copper, manganese, molybdenum, or even zinc or magnesium potentially problem some because of the lack of transporter proteins. This is a very big deal to me as it validates what I've been thinking for a long time. I don't believe I have Trypanosoma brueci, but I do believe I have a similar apicomplexian protozoan.
