Good morning! Hope e dry one is having a pain free morning.
I feel silly posing this question, but lately my lower back, sciatica, hip pain, leg, and foot pain on my right side has made it difficult to walk- or sit. These are all "old" symptoms that seem to be flaring up lately and not quitting. A year ago I was told I have more degeneration that usual in the discs of my Lower back before I was diagnosed with Lyme. I was standing in a pharmacy yesterday waiting for my script
and it hit me... Would walking with a cane make my life easier? Do I really need a cane, or should I just suck it up..
My husband and I are planning a vacation in a month. I'm thinking a cane might help me "last a few hours longer", but at 33 years old, I'm sort of embarrassed to think I need a cane. I'm torn. But I know if I have 5 stores to run errands at, I'm coming home after 2 stores bc I just can't bare to walk anymore.
Can you please share your stories with me, if you have started using a walking device to help you?
