Hello All,

for some time my vision has been blurry,comes toward mid day and persists for hours on end....it seems this is my # issue,light fatigue and brain fog with.

am i missing something,stepped up detoxing?

Sometimes even with proper treatment, detoxing, etc...it is just time that is needed. No matter what the protocol, with effective detoxing...it just takes time.

You are still in treatment, right?

And, you've added in multiple methods of detoxing?

Girlie to the rescue! hello

still in treatment.....one positive,the fatigue is not as bad,however,i cant look at computer that long.

ps Rifampin....liver enzymes are slightly elevated...You mentioned on another post.

staying on it and DETOXING like crazy

PetZa,i am considering herbals within next 2-4 weeks.

can i take the herb with ABX?

Yes, herbs can be taken with antibiotics.
I have been taking Buhner's herbs with the abx for a lot of the time.

I am just starting to add them back in to my protocol.....one at a time.

I wasn't suggesting that you won't find something that works for your eyes...I just wanted to say that sometimes we can do everything right...and in the end ...it's about treating and giving it the time to work.
But, that doesn't mean we stop trying to find something that will help with our symptoms while we're treating....hope that makes sense.

Yay - the fatigue isn't as bad...

My liver enzymes were high before Rifampin - when I was treating lyme.
They actually went down after I took a break...and continued to lower after I added the Mino and Rifampin for bartonella, and again with the biaxin and Rifampin.

I am due for a check again...actually overdue.

Hi Everyone,

I have been suffering for a long time with mostly neurological issues - EXTREME fatigue, brain fog, memory loss, light sensitivity, burning eyes, etc. I am wondering if you all can explain what you mean by "detox"? I see you all keep mentioning it as a way to help with the neuro symptoms. Do you have a specific detox plan?

Just don't try and to all the detoxing ideas at once. You need to add them one at a time and work up to doing a lot of them everyday.

The easy ones to start are lemon water. Super good to hydrate and also help your liver clean out the dead spirochetes. And another that you can do right away is dry brushing. Those are easy and if you start with those 2 then you can add more. I love giving myself a nice dry brush and then a shower.

On the lemon water, if you are concerned about the acidity of the lemon on your teeth, you can drink through a straw. Or just drink a glass of good plain water after the lemon water or brush your teeth to clean your mouth.

Are you currently in treatment?

The link that PeteZa posted has a lot of great detoxing methods.
And as she said start with a couple, and add a new one every few days:

*** I want to say that you shouldn't brush your teeth after drinking the lemon water...for at least an hour - the toothbrush can erode the enamel.****

These are some of my regular detoxing methods:
- drink at least 8 glasses of water daily
- squeeze organic lemons into some glasses
- take warm epsom salt baths
- dry brush my skin before the baths
- Take liver support - such as milk thistle extract
- Take alka seltzer gold
- Take Pinella and Burbur
- Take a binder - Activated Charcoal.

It is really important that you take a good probiotic daily to replenish the gut bacteria.
