Hello All,

My last lab (last week) shows My WBC up to 8.7....RBC is still around 5?

Is that due to the fact my body is fighting the infections.....possibly?

reminder - what is the top end of the wbc range? Is 8.7 over the range...or within it?

So, that is a good number.

What was it before?

My wbc count was borderline prior to antibiotics (on low side) and then after antibiotics went low...(I think down to 2.0) Then went on Rifampin for bartonella, and it started to climb...and last I think it was 3.9 (4.0 is bottom end of range)

even with my RBC, around 5 (labcorp) it did this back during the summer before i found out this was Lyme.now last week again?

Reminder ...i think its good that wbc is up...my started at 10.7 after ear infection and have been going down...our symptoms and infections are similar...
